Time flies like an arrow before we realize it .It is known that nothing is more precious than time. The good old proverb "time is money" reminds us that time is valuable. When time goes by, it will never return. However, it is a pity that some people don't make full use of their time .They spend a lot of time in sleeping, chatting playing computer games or other unmeaning matters. . They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait, because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
The more we are aware of the significance of this famous saying, the more benefits we will get in study or job.

现代社会的水资源匮乏，已经到了难以逆转的地步，如果人类在不及时控制水资源的浪费情况，有可能在未来的某一天，水资源会彻底断流，所以为了我们赖以生存的家园，请大家节约水资源，保护水环境。
其实在平时生活中，我们就可以从一件小事坐起，因为往往是在身边发生的小事，却是可以改变现实社会的一些大问题。我是生活在华北地区的一名学生，我们这里的水资源，不能说是匮乏，但是也是接近最低水位线，节约水资源刻不容缓。我们今天就来说一说，怎么样从生活小事情中，去节约水资源。
我们每天早上起床都要洗漱，洗脸，洗头等，现在家家户户都不用井水了，而是水龙头，但是正是因为这样，才会造成水资源大量浪费，因为有的人洗漱不关闭水龙头，造成没有必要的浪费。所以，我们生活中，在洗漱的时候，一定要关闭水龙头，把水接到盆里，用盆里的水洗漱，如果水不够的话，再去接，这样就能有效的节约一部分水了；除此之外，还有就是，大家在冲洗厕所的时候，尽量少用马桶里边的水，我们平时洗菜，洗脸的水都不要轻易地倒掉，把这些水储存起来，就可以用来冲洗厕所了，这样也是一个节约水资源的办法。
所以说，节约水资源的办法有许多，看大家有没有这样意识，只要每个人都有节约水资源的意识，我相信在大家的努力下，水资源的浪费一定可以得到缓解。

节约是我们中华民族的传统美德！它---是穷人的财富，富人的智慧。水是生命的源泉，它更是人们不可缺少的东西，世界上有很多国家都严重缺水，中国就是世界严重缺水的13个国家之一，所以我们可用的水资源是越来越少了。
而今天，我们许多小学生却根本不知道自己在日常生活中对于水资源是多么的浪费啊。平时在学校吃过晚餐后，就是我们最开心的瞬间。因为在卫生间洗澡的时候我经常和同学们一起打水仗，用水互相浇来洒去，更为突出的是用盆子，塑料桶泼水，真的是闹得不亦乐乎，分不清天南地北了；早晚刷牙时也不关水龙头，任凭水笼头哗哗的流着；天冷的时候，用玻璃瓶不停地换热水捂手……这些现象在生活中随处可见。因为有了老师的教育，加上我们又看了那么多教育片与专题片，我们终于明白了：水资源并不是取之不尽，用之不竭的。想一想：电视里面报道的我们国家那些连水都喝不上的地方，我们真得感到很惭愧，意识到缺水的严重性。
珍惜水资源，保护环境”，这不仅仅是一句口号，这是我们地球人应尽的责任和义务，让我们一起变浪费水资源的陋习，为保护我们生命的源泉共同努力，从你做起！从我做起！从现在做起！从节约生活中的一滴水资源做起！从现在开始，节约不分国界，不分年龄！

水是生命之源，人类的健康离不开水，人可以几天不进食，但是不可以几天不喝水。
你们知道吗？世界水日是哪一天？是每年的3月22日，为什么会有这个节日，是因为世界上能饮用的水资源正在慢慢的减少。而且水是一切生命赖以生存，社会经济发展不可缺少和不可替代的重要自然资源和环境要素。但是现在随着世界人口的增长，工农业生产污染和城市的发展，对有限的水资源及水的生存环境产生了巨大的影响。在全球的范围内，水质的污染、需水量的迅速增加和人们对水的不合理应用，使水资源进一步短缺。
为了唤起人们对保护水资源的意识，建立一种更为全面的，可持续利用的水资源。1993年1月18日，第47届联合国会议根据联合国环境与发展大会制定的《21世纪行动议程》中提出的建议，确定自1993年起，把每年的3月22日定为世界水日。
其实水质的问题在我们的生活中十分常见，举一个例子：我家住在下沙天元公寓，家门口以前是一条富有生机的小河，通往钱塘江。但是自从人们搬进了这片开发区，就无节制的向小河里乱扔垃圾、排放污水。小河不再是以前的小河了，它变得黑了，而且还有一种气味。这就是人们污染水资源的证据。如果我们不曾污染它，现在依旧可以在小河里嬉戏……但现在一切都变得不可能了。
节约如同燕衔泥，浪费就像河决堤。节约点点滴滴的水是我们点点滴滴的责任。同学们，保护水资源，让我们一起行动吧！我的演讲结束了，谢谢大家！
