《童年.在人间.我的大学》是由苏联著名作家----高尔基所著。记述了主人公阿辽沙因父亲去世，而迫不得已来到外祖父家，在本应该天真无邪的童年时代，遭到外祖父的殴打，看到舅舅们为外祖父将来要留给他们的遗产勾心斗角，断裂了兄弟感情；同时，也感受到了外祖母对他的无微不至的关爱和照顾，失去了童年时该有的绚丽的色彩。随着阿辽沙一天天的成长，他不得不外出打工，在鞋店当徒弟、给画师当帮工、到轮船上洗碗……做着远远超于自己年龄的活，饱尝了人世间的悲欢离合，酸甜苦辣。不知不觉间，他爱上了读书，他的读书生涯也由此开始，他先来到喀山市寻找心中的大学，寻求读书学习，但一切都是浮影，他需要维持生计，其实，他早已进入了社会大学的生活，只不过这个大学竞争更加激烈，比拼更加残酷而已。
《童年.在人间.我的大学》这本自传三部曲充满着坎坷和艰辛，让我看到了阿辽沙的成长中那股积极向上的精神。而在文中经过生活磨练变得坚强而善良，勇敢而自信的阿辽沙正是生活中的高尔基。他曾经说过：“让暴风雨来得更猛烈些吧！”的确，只有苦难，才能让我们意志坚定，心胸宽容坦荡。没有猛烈的暴风雨，就没有缤纷的彩虹；没有环境的考验，就没有动物的进化；没有困难的磨练，就会被他人替代……即使高尔基在这么多困难面前，仍然不忘用心读书。“我扑在书上，就像饥饿的人扑在面包上。我梦想大学生活，甚至甘愿忍受任何拷打”可见，高尔基从小就和书本结下了不解之缘。他愿意用一顿毒打来换取看书的权利；他愿意用休息时间来换取阅读的时间；他愿意遭人侮辱来换取一本好书……这样意志坚定、热爱阅读的高尔基怎么不会站在世界文学的金字塔的顶端呢？
