我拿上他的空竹往重点跑，经过观众席的时候被老师给叫住了，她要我把空竹放回教室里。“但愿能赶上比赛。”我心想。来到教师，碰到了几个搬面包的同学，我跟他们一起把面包送到比赛场地。谢天谢地，比赛还没有开始。
轮到戴峥上场了。一组人站在起点，身高不一。枪声一响，大家都想离弦的箭一样冲出起点。观众席上非常热闹，加油声直冲云霄。我看到戴峥使劲全力，咬紧牙关飞速前进，近了，近了，马上就到终点了。“哈哈，太好了！”他成功夺得小组第二名，简直让我与有荣焉。
我扶着他经过篮球场，赶到主席台边，这儿现在是广播站。我们站在扶手边听着一篇篇演播稿，有为运动员喝彩的，有赞扬运动的，还有写裁判员工作人员的，许许多多的纸片叠成了小山。我正听得入神，回头一看，咦——人呢？“完了，完了，我把戴峥丢了。”我像热锅上的蚂蚁急得团团转，在草地上，观众席，终点找了一遍又一遍，还是没有找到。回到广播站，突然又看到他正跟几个同学玩得正热闹。唉！真是山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村哪！
一百米的决赛要开始了，我手上拿着两瓶水，抱着一个面包，亦步亦趋跟着他到检录点，真像个保姆。比赛又开始了，随着裁判员一声枪响，运动员们冲出起点，飞速狂奔，你追我赶，我在终点高喊：“戴峥加油，戴峥加油——！”戴峥面红耳赤，两眼直视前方。第一名冲过终点，紧接着第二名，戴峥紧随其后，好险啊，他与第四名就差一步了。
今天我的任务终于完成了，这个幕后英雄可没想像中的那么容易。但是运动员更辛苦。
