1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

昨天我们到了无锡三国城和水浒城，我们先是到水浒城那里买票。大人每位120元，我只需要买半票60元就可以进去了。
我们先是到梁山码头那里，看到了好几艘大船，那里还有一块大石头上面写着“水泊梁山”四个大字，我和妈妈还有奶奶在那里拍了好多照片。接着我们又来到了一条街，街的两旁边有卖古代兵器仿制品的商店。我们还上了城墙，城墙上有许多刚发芽的柳枝。城墙的两面插了好多面旗子，旗子上都有一个“宋”字，这个“宋”字在水浒里就代表了宋江。走了很长时间，我们都不觉得肚子有点饿了，所以就在武大郎烧饼店买了5个烧饼，味道还真的不错。表演的时间到了，表演的地方人可真多呀，真是人山人海呀。因为我太矮了所以只能站在凳子上看了。杂技表演的节目有好几个呢，我最喜欢的就是表演者站上一个像翘翘板一样的道具上，只是下面是一个圆筒。人不但要保持平衡还要把翘翘板上的碗一个个的送到头顶上，接着还有杯子，最后是汤匙都要准确的落到杯子里。这些以前都只在电视上看过的，真是太厉害了。
我们又来到了三国城，第一站我们经过了火烧赤壁的模型版现场。好多木船都排列整齐像是要二军开战了，这个场景让我想到了诸葛亮如何用妙计以小胜多。然后我们来到了吴王宫，就是刘备的宫殿，上去的台阶好多哦，感觉很雄伟。里面有好多穿古装的人在拍照，还有一些人在弹奏古代乐器。三国人物结义的桃园我们也看到了，里面人很多桃树。最后我们到了三国城的出口，在离出口不远的\'地方有石头制成的三国兵马，分别有三个国家的人物和旗子，我和爸爸还在那里拍了照片呢。
我们都走得非常累了，离吃中饭的时间早就过了好长了，所以就从三国城的出口直接出去了。吃好中饭我们还去了妈妈的学校，妈妈说已经毕业这么久一点也没有变。这次旅游真的很好玩呢。

昨天，我们去了太湖欢乐谷，真是太好玩了！什么马戏表演呀，什么熊猫呀，什么火烈鸟呀，都让我们乐不思蜀。
一早，我们就兴致勃勃地向无锡出发了。经过长达40分钟的路程，我们终于到了太湖欢乐园，里面人山人海。我们看了一上午的马戏，就向动物园进发了！

依依不舍地告别了“黑眼圈哥”，我们来到了“鸟语林”，还没看见馆呢，耳边就传来了一阵阵清脆悦耳的“喳喳”声。“看！鸟语林！鸟语林！”这时，一位眼尖的同学喊道。“听说呀，里面大鸟是被拷住的，但有些小鸟是可以自由飞来飞去的，而且会攻击‘入侵者’呢！”一位同学靠在我耳边说道。我听了这话，进去的想法被一扫而空，又开始担惊受怕了。可是，还有人执迷不悟，怎么劝也劝不了他那坚定的心。无可奈何，我进入了“鸟语林”，被迫开始了五1班“vs”鸟的“征途”！我又想退缩，可这样又会被女生笑话，又不敢进去，这样会被鸟“攻击”，真是“进退两难”呀！为了不丢男生的脸，向前“冲锋”！我在心底鼓励着自己，一下子冲进了门。我进了门，“喳喳”声震耳欲聋，仿佛置身于圆形的乐池里，身边鸟语花香，让我神清气爽！不知怎么的，我好像胆子大了许多，在花园里走来走去，一点恐惧气氛也没有，还发现了一间密室呢！就这样，我们安安全全地离开了馆。
